Dr. Li received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999. She continued her three-year dental specialty training in the field of Periodontics from University of Michigan, Department of Periodontics and Implantology and became a certified Periodontist.

Dr. Li is an expert clinical specialist in periodontal surgical treatment and implant dentistry. She has significant experiences in cosmetic soft tissue grafts, crown elongations, dental implant comprehensive treatment plans, surgical implant placements and bone graft procedures.

In addition to her cutting edge surgical skills, Dr. Li enjoys research and teaching in the area of periodontics and implant dentistry. She has numerous publications in scientific journals. Her current article, "Common Implant-related Advanced Bone Grafting Complications, Classification, Etiology & Management", was published in the prestigious Journal of Implant Dentistry in 2008 and is often cited and referenced by fellow periodontists and implant specialists.
